In 2014, the Modi government through its Attorney General had for the first time spoken on the Katchatheevu issue. Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi, representing the Centre had told a Supreme Court bench led by Chief Justice of India RM Lodha: “If you want Katchatheevu back, you will have to go to war to get it back.” As the issue takes centre stage again he speaks to NDTV’s Marya Shakil.
